Internship at Gary L. Black & Associates
Through the years 2017 and 2018, I was privileged enough to intern with an accounting team. I was titled book keeper for the company of Gary L. Black & Associates. I learned several skills through hands on training and experience. I was able to ask my mentors questions, observe the daily tasks of an accountant, and get a feel for if this job is what I want to pursue in my future.

I have been a member of the Flowery Branch High School Varsity Soccer team my entire high school career. I made varsity as a freshmen and started every game.
In 2017, Flowery Branch Girl's Varsity team made it to the final four in the State tournament. It was an exciting and unforgettable experience.
I am a member of Flowery Branch's National Honor's Society. NHS is a club in which the students with the highest GPA's come together to better their society through community service. In 2018, NHS participated in service projects such as the Harvest Balloon Festival, Trunk or Treat, Food Bank Bowl Painting, Lanier Under the Lights 5K, Rock-a-thon, Decorating Children's Hospital Unit, and Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis.
I participate in Student Council. Student Council is one of my favorite extracurricular activities that I am a part of. Having the privilege of planning, decorating, and scheduling homecoming, as well as raising and being a part of school spirit go hand in hand with my personality. Within this club we also assist in fund-raising events, such as powerder-puff. All the money is donated to non-profit organizations such as Thumbs-up. Participating in school spirit is right up my ally, so planning spirit week is one of my favorite responsibilities involved in student council.
I have been committed to Lanier Soccer Association since I was 10 years old. In 2017, we won the A-bracket for the women's U-19 league in the state of Georgia. Since I have been apart of this team we have also been champions in many tournaments and had two undefeated seasons. I have grown with the girls on this team and built friendships that can never be torn apart, while also learning more about the game each day.

Credentials:
The Color Race For Grace
I have volunteered and ran the color race. This is a non-profit organization that holds a 5K as a fundraiser to collet money for human sex trafficking. I spent several hours setting up for the race, persuading peers to sign up, and actually running the race itself.
The Humane Society
Through the years 2015 to 2017, I volunteered off and on at the Gainesville Humane Society. I loved giving my time to the animals, I would help to feed them, clean their cages, take them out, but most of all, show them love. From volunteering at this animal shelter, I later adopted my own dog in which I have built an unbreakable bond.
The Waterford, Oakwood Nursing Home
After my grandmother was placed in The Waterford Nursing Home located in Oakwood, Georgia, I began to donate my time towards the elderly who lived in the home. I loved interacting with the residents, making them crafts, and sitting down to eat with them. I learned so much through volunteering my time to these lovely people.
Projects through Honors WBL at Flowery Branch High School
As a part of the honors work based learning program at my high school, I was involved in several community service projects throughout my junior year. One project we took part in was providing a Christmas dinner to the disabled employees of Main Street Market on the Gainesville Square. We also took part in volunteering time and resources to the non-profit organization, BackPack Love. We each organized a food drive to collect the items that would be placed in back packs and donated to less fortunate children. We also spent a few hours packing the book bags with the food items.
